The longer lifespan of the Long-Life product line is achieved through an additional salt supply, more precisely through pressed potassium chloride tablets.

Conventional sensors without this additional salt supply have a much shorter shelf life.

Especially with low conductivities of the measuring medium, as is the case in swimming pool technology, the consumption of the internal electrolyte in the sensor is significantly increased. This results in enormous wear on the sensor.

However, our additional salt supply constantly releases new electrolytes to compensate for this loss. This results in faster response time and extended lifespan.
